Bachelors' /Masters Degree from a leading university in Mining Engineering.
Previous coal mining experience of at least Ten (6) years is must, preferably in Coal Sector or other Mining PSU / Private Sector Corporates
Working Knowledge of Mine Planning & Scheduling Software like MINEX / DATAMINE / VULCAN etc. will be desirable.
Should lead the team in evaluation of various Techno-commercial options in terms of Mining Methodology & Equipment Configuration, Evaluation of latest technological options and Estimation of CAPEX & OPEX for various Opencast and Underground Projects etc.
Prior experience of working with a consultancy organization is desirable.
Should have knowledge of Underground and Opencast Coal mining Technologies.
Good Costing & Financial analysis skills pertaining to the sector is essential.
Exceptional written and verbal
communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity would be an important criterion
Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
Comfort in and commitment to strong teamwork environment
Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive
Sound working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
Willingness to travel is a must
